Four Shillings Short was a Huge Hit!
Over 70 music lovers got more than their four shillings worth on Friday July 15 when this duo of highly talented musicians took the stage at the Mount Holly Town Library.
For almost two hours they entertained the appreciative audience with their wide variety of stringed and reed instruments and their collection of songs from Ireland, Scotland, the Appalachians, and some mesmerizing Indian ragas performed masterfully on the sitar.
Our only wish is that these traveling troubadours would drive their van a little faster and return to us soon! Many thanks to Lynne Herbst for organizing this event and to Claudine Langille and Rod Ferrell for hosting the musicians.
